14" Bandsaw Upper Hinge Assembly w/IRON pivot shaft bracket Upgrade (7-3)

Description

Bandsaw Sliding Bracket, with iron pivot for upper wheel, (66 in drawing-the iron pivot is black in photo), with thumb screw tracking adjustment, (#68), and locking wing nut, (#69). See picture for what you are buying. Takes 1-1/2'' under the nut. For thinner wheels use washers to shim the distance out.
At last, a fix for the "weak link" in 14" bandsaw blade tensioning linkage. Cast iron pivot will not bend like pot-metal used by others. For those who want the best and don't mind paying a little more for it.

This part uses a cast iron arm to hold the upper wheel shaft and tilt for tracking instead of the usual, prone to bending or breaking pot metal usually used. This the strongest toughst assembly offeref anywhere. the iron pivot arm results in a part that will give years of trouble free service at a modest cost above the standard pot metal or aluminium arm.
