Vehicle Details
Mostly original, factory 454 'Y' code vehicle. Was repainted, original color was light metallic copper. Needs to be repainted. No detectable deep rust in typical places, but surface rust because of paint issues.
Has been updated with MSD distributor, Edelbrock intake manifold, brand new Holley Street Demon carb, and has dual exhaust on original exhaust manifolds. Factory California emissions equipment is still intact, and factory AC blows cold professionally updated to r134a.
Starts and runs great, uses some oil, 3-speed automatic shifts well.
Interior has some updated gauges. Some work, some are not currently hooked up.
Camper shell is in excellent condition, with one flaw in the upper drivers area. Bed appears to be relatively rust free.
Bought this car a few months ago to restore. No longer have time, and need the garage space.
SS trim present, including bright trim around driver windows and wheel wells, color matched side mirrors, swing out bucket seats, steering wheel, dash badge, front grill, and fender badges. Also, disc brakes and rear coil springs.
Previous owner says the engine had been rebuilt by the owner before him. Unable to determine if this is true, or at what mileage this occurred.
New rear shocks, new alternator, new battery, refurbished AC pump. Tires are worn.
Was told vehicle contains original engine and trans. I am unable to determine if this is true.
