    Description

    2 Rare Vintage Drostdy Ware Boomerang Plates, South Africa. These beautiful trays/dish-ware were hand-created in South Africa in the 1950's and the images are derived from illustrations of Southern San Rock Paintings/Bushmen Tribal Art. These beautiful reddish brown plates are made of slip-cast earthenware with a thin layer of clear glaze that leaves the plates with a natural, slightly 'rough', rustic texture. The two plates are in 'used', good condition with minor flea-bites (please see photographs). Both plates have 3 small raised 'legs' on the back of the plate. The plates measure 6.25" in diameter.
