Collectible Motorcar of Atlanta has done it again with this gorgeous 2005 Lotus Elise in Bordeaux Red Pearl over tan interior. Not only is the Bordeaux Red Pearl paint job rare, it is exceptionally beautiful in person. With just a hint of metallic, this paint shows well under LEDs or out in the direct sunlight. Weighing in at just under 2,000 lbs, this car has a great amount of horsepower and even better handling. The tires hug the road very well while you take on corners at top speeds, and the 1.8L 4-cylinder does not miss a beat. Given that this power plant is manufactured by the smart engineers at Toyota, you will be able to achieve 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds while still getting 30 mpg on the highway.
This 4-owner Elise is guaranteed to put a smile on your face once you get behind the wheel and put your foot on the gas pedal. The current owner has owned the vehicle for just under a decade, and has put only a couple thousand miles on her, while being garage kept when not in use. In our past, we have not been able to keep these Lotus's in stock due to high demand and low availability. It is one of my personal favorites, due to the "go kart" feel. Even the aluminum chassis is lightweight, coming in at 150 lbs. With a total weight of only 1950 lbs, these cars want to take off and fly. The variable timing kicks in about 6200 RPM and will continue revving to 8500 RPM! These high revving cars are quick and agile with the ability to carry speed through corners.
