    Description

    This
    is a set of
    Six
vintage oriental glass floats that are sequentially numbered.
The floats average 3-1/4" in diameter. There is a nice
    variety
    of colors and and textures.
These are #89 thru #94 in Walt Pich's book. It's hard to put together a whole set that are in sequence but here they are. The floats in the pictures are the actual floats you are bidding on. Some of the floats have Kanji marks embossed on the seal.
This set is the real deal
    authentic working floats tha
t I personally beach combed from Alaska
    n beaches
. They have different textures but mostly net pattern texture where the floats are abraded and then the nets deteriorate and fall off leaving the net texture. Some have been exposed to the elements for years and some which are brighter were buried in the sand for years and later washed out and exposed because of storms. They were all netted at one time and used in the foreign high seas drift net fishery prior to the early 1970's.
