Bi-metal blades have High Speed Steel (HSS) teeth for a sharper cut and a longer lasting blade
HSS edge contains 8% cobalt which absorbs heat more efficiently
    Tips for Tooth Selection

Bi-metal blades are for all Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Materials

The picture chart shows what Tooth Count to purchase

The thickness of material you are cutting decides what tooth to use. Not the type of material

When in doubt go with finer (more teeth per inch) to prevent strippage

Never use a wood cutting machine to cut steel.  Wood saws run too fast!
