Bagpipe Chanter Stand
Long Practice Chanter Stand for sale. The stand also has a cubby that will hold a few extra reeds and/or sponges. The bottom has recessed anti-skid feet to keep it in place on your desk. This is for the non-customized version. In one of the pictures, you’ll see a name on the side of “Buckley”. If you would like yours personalized, check my other auctions. This version is blank on both sides and has the FTG (company name).
This stand was designed around a Gibson Long Chanter, but it holds many brands (see below) and even pipe chanters. The stand holds the mouthpiece side up at a slight angle which helps keep the chanter in the stand. If you want to measure yours first, the top will accept a chanter with a width of 14mm and the bottom is 18mm. Below is the growing list of known compatible practice chanters and pipe chanters.
These stands are printed using PETG plastic in galaxy black which has a slight shimmer. PETG has a great chemical resistance with good water, acidic and alkalic resistance as well. 3D printing isn’t flawless, and your item may have tiny imperfections upon close inspection.

CHANTERS. My son has a Gibson standard poly and it is far too top heavy and only takes a little touch to make it tip out. If your standard chanter has a sole, I am sure that it would be fine. **
