Ridgid 4001 14002, 14" Bandsaw ball bearing upper blade guide upgrade

Description

Ridgid 14000, 14001 14002, 14" Bandsaw ball bearing upper blade guide upgrade.
Note:
Should you find the assembly does not clear the trust bearing on your saw:
1- The thrust bearing is mounted on a hex shaft that has an eccentric end. Remove the hex shaft and turn the eccentric away from the guide fork for clearance.
2-If that does not give you enough clearance then the groove on the rear of this for the micro adjusting nut may need to be on the wrong side to use it. If so you will need to remove the micro-adjusting nut and turn the guide fork upside down for clearance. You can then adjust adjust the fork by simply sliding it forward or rearward by hand.
-The shank extends 1-3/4" from the block housing
-The ball bearings are mounted on eccentric that allow you to swing them away from the guides thrust ball bearing, (not included), and close to your blade. Will replace either the upper or lower on Ridgid and most other import bandsaws.
IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE:
The thrust bearing post that is above this when installed has a cam upon which the thrust bearing is mounted. This has six possible positions that swing the bearing closer to the guide fork or further away. You may need to re-position the thrust bearing post so the thrust bearing clears the blade. To do this first remove the thrust bearing. Then, using an allen wrench,  part-way back out the screw that holds the post on and it will pull the post out with it. Re-position the thrust bearing post to allow for clearance and reinstall. See picture of post end with bearing removed for clarification on ebay item

GUIDE ADJUSTMENT:
To adjust the guide first move both upper and lower guides away from blade so it does not touch them. Then move the lower side guides so that they just touch the blade behind the teeth. Repeat with upper guide. Then adjust the thrust bearings so that they almost touch the rear edge of the blade with no load.
